e-Wolf e2: A Ferrari Enzo-Faced, All-Electric German Supercar with 536HP

Ferrari Enzo-e-Wolf e2
Lately it seems as if new electric car proposals are coming in left and right, and not only from volume brands. The e2 is the work of a German firm called e-Wolf, which currently builds the e1, a lightweight one-seater sports car with a 110kW / 147HP electric motor that recalls the Lotus Seven. The company released a set of renderings along with initial specs of the 'e2' that is scheduled to be formally introduced onto the market sometime in 2011.

The two seater's exterior appearance looks a fusion of styling traits from an array of supercar models including the Ferrari Enzo (especially up front), various Lamborghinis and even the Spada Conatronca concept.

e-Wolf said that the car will weigh in at around 900kg or 1,985 lbs with power being provided by four 100kW / 134HP electric motors, one for each wheel (just like Audi's e-Tron concept), delivering a combined peak torque of close to 1,000Nm or 737.6 lb-ft.

The battery that powers the four motors is said to give the German supercar a range of around 300km or 187 miles. According to the company's claims, the battery can be charged in a little over half an hour. More details on the e2 are to be released in the very near future.

5 The Most Unforgettable Movie Cars 2007

1961 Ferrari 250 GT
Have you ever known that cars can be not only a means of transportation, but also movie stars, they can have their own fans and ratings. It is not easy, to choose among them, because tastes differ and what is good for one person, can look ugly to another. Now, I will give a list of the most popular and unforgettable movie cars and you must feel free and give your comments, whether you agree or disagree! OK?

Fist of all, pay attention, I will enlist them, not from the point of view of their importance and rank. It is just a narration.

1. Let’s start with: 2003 Mini Cooper S
I am sure, you remember, it is one of the Madonna’s favourite cars. More than 40 years of production, extreme popularity, millions of fans… What is the recipe of such a success? It offers not only: safety, comfort, advanced functions, durability and reliability while driving, it has a competitive price and really bright appearance. Driving a Mini - you have a status of independent person, possessing your own opinion. Also, these incredible stripes … They are so cute… This car will always be popular. Don’t you think so?

2. 1964 Aston Martin DB5, (Known to the publicity as “Goldfinger”)I suppose, most of you, have recognized it? Right you are - James Bond car. There are a lot of movies about James Bond and there were a lot of cars used there, but, in people’s minds Aston Martin DB5 always will be the car of Bond and Bond is, of course, Sean Connery. All Bond cars are posh, expensive and bright, but, unfortunately, none of them, has made such a stir, as Aston made. This car is not just as a beautiful image, it is a powerful one: engine - 4.0 L, top speed - 230 km/h and it weighs 1565 kg.

3. 1981 DeLorean DMC-12, (of course, it was seen in “Back to the Future”)It was a hybrid - a rear thing for those times, possessed 5-speed manual transmission, gull-wing doors… The main peculiarity - it is not just a car - it is a plane as well. It can both fly and ride at a very high speed. This car is not so beautiful and authoritative as the first two, but we adore dreaming and actually, why not? Moreover, we have to say “thank you” to the manufacturer, because it was the only one car produced by the company De Lorean. Its prototype was ready in 1977 and the production stopped in 1982. It looks a little bit strange, and even ugly, and still reminds a guest from the far planet. There was made only 9 000 thousands of these cars and 6 500 are still believed to be alive. You can try to find one!

4. 1961 Ferrari 250 GT, (it was a star of the famous “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off”)Ferrari, of course, no list can be full without this name. Red Ferrari with convertible roof, to tell the truth, it always was and will be one of the most expensive and authoritative cars. This movie has completely changed the youth attitude to life, since the release of this movie, millions of teens started driving their fathers cars. Oh, I have almost forgotten to mention - this car is so fast… Hold tight!

5. 1968 Ford Mustang GT 390, (it was specially designed fo the movie “Bullitt”)Pay attention, a 7-minute scene made this car popular and cooler than Dodge Charger. Chase while driving this car is one of the most memorable among the whole movie chases.

Rent Ferrari 360 in Las Vegas, Nevada

Rent Ferrari 360
Ferrari 360 is my dream car. Itis more luxurious than any other Ferraris. This is a car meant for speed. I got the Modena coupe design and it was pretty stylish than any other cars that I have ever used. This is a model released in the year 1999. The engine of Ferrari 360 is a 3.6 litre V8 engine that can generate about 400 horsepower and is capable of getting into 60 mph from zero mph in just under 4 seconds. And that makes it as a great car with a good engine.

When I say Ferrari 360 to be highly luxurious, it is actually highly luxurious – I meant it when I said it. The interiors are made of pure leather. Some of the other things we can see inside are of good quality as well. The transmission is manual – it comes with 6 speed manual transmission controls.

Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano coupe

Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano
The Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano is Ferrari's latest front-engine, rear-wheel-drive 12-cylinder exotic sports car. It gets its name from a combination of its engine displacement of 5,999cc, "Gran Turismo Berlinetta," which is Italian for "grand touring hardtop" and Fiorano, Ferrari's test track in Fiorano Modenese, Italy.

The 599 GTB Fiorano debuted for the 2007 model year. Powered by a retuned version of the V12 engine found in the F1-inspired Ferrari Enzo road car, the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano produces a dizzying 612 horsepower and 448 pound-feet of torque. With a curb weight of 3,722 pounds, that gives the 599 GTB a stunning weight-to-power ratio of 6.1 pounds per hp. Ferrari claims the car can go from zero to 60 mph in less than 3.7 seconds, with a top speed of around 205 mph.

Ferrari Dino 2010 420 Finally Confirmed

Ferrari Dino 2010
Finally! We got word that Ferrari does indeed plan to create the Dino Concept that has been peeking its head recently. Unfortunetly there aren’t many confirmed details, but we do have some universally agreed-upon theories of Ferrari’s next major model. One of the biggest questions about a new “budget” Ferrari is whether or not it will dilute the Ferrari brand name.

Ferrari wants to sell the new model between $140,000 and $160,000 USD, and are currently trying to decide if a lower price will do just that. The Dino is scheduled to go on sale as a 2010 model, and will hopefully make its debut in an early 2009 Auto Show. Estimated output is at 3500-5000 units per year.

Rumor has it the car will be named the “420 Dino,” bringing back the name of what some would call the most beautiful Ferrari ever made. The “420″ in the name hints at the all-new, all-aluminum 90 degree 4.2 Liter V8 producing just under the 480 horsepower that the current F430 makes. The engine will be mounted in a “front-mid” configuration, putting the engine mostly all behind the front axle; differing from both the F430 and older Dino model. In response to the new powerful V8, Ferrari says by 2008 the F430 will get the 5.0 liter V10 being developed that pushes out around 550 horsepower.

2010 Ferrari 458 Italia

2010 Ferrari 458 Italia
Ferrari 458 Italia looks impressive from any angle as it has a design that has never been seen before on any Ferrari. The high performance sports car comes complete with a new engine, improved aerodynamics, upgraded handling and improved instrumentation and ergonomics inside the cabin.

The wedge shaped body was penned by Pininfarina, while the interior was left up to the work of Donato Coco, Ferrari’s Chief Designer. The front end features a single wide mouth opening to let a specific amount of air in paired with a vent on either front fender. Out back there are a pair of large ducts just before the taillights, all designed with aerodynamic contours and partitions that direct air directly into the radiators and away from the new flat underbody. The nose also sports small aeroelastic winglets which generate downforce and, as speed rises, deform to reduce the section of the radiator inlets and reduce drag.
